Size adjustability

Yes. The patented turn elements in the support ring allow to adjust a Compact size to another tire size easily and therefore matches many different tire sizes. The diameter can be changed by up to 40 mm.

Yes. A simple change of the hooking position of the chain elements at the tracks provide a very good adjustment possibility to the specific tire dimension. The chain length can be shortened or prolonged by up to 30 mm.

Yes. The patented adjusting element allows the chain to be easily lengthened or shortened by up to 19 cm.

Adapter for the wheel connection

Universal, with all Spikes-Spider models combinable adapter system which is being attached directly to the lug bolts, -nuts.

Mounting

Shift the arms aside where the weel touches the ground. Mount the Compact starting at the top of the tire and push the Compact slightly left and right towards the tire. Lock the system with the locking disc afterwards. No readjustment necessary.

After one unique size adjustment before use, the Sport is being simply put onto the tire and locked. The lower chain section pulls itself onto the tire after a half turn of the wheel.
